Stewardship: A Way of Living

Time, Talent, Treasure

How can I repay the Lord for all the good done to me?
Psalm 116:12

Truckee and Lake Tahoe are vacation destinations, and most of our Mass attendance is comprised of visitors. We need your help in so many ways. The bottom of this page lists the opportunites available to you to help our parish and to give back to the community.

If you are able and willing to help, please contact the parish office at 530-587-3595.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Offer your knitting, crocheting, or quilting talents to this ministry, which provides shawls and blankets for those in need of being wrapped with love and God's healing grace.  If you would like to join this ministry or if you know of anyone who would like to receive one of these gifts, please contact Lorraine Turner at 530-550-9769 or e-mail LM.turner@sbcglobal.net. Completed projects and yarn or fabric donations can be left at the church office during regular business hours.

Looking for Catechists

We are in need of Catechism teachers, and assistants. You get to teach our children and teens about their faith. It’s a very important Ministry that can truly make a difference. The classes are an hour and fifteen minutes long, once a week. You will have support in your planning of lessons, if needed. This is a fun, faith-filled, and rewarding experience! Please join us as we create a Dynamic Religious Education Program. Call the Office 587-3595, ask for Carol Fowler.

Volunteers for Monthly Cleaning

We need more strong and able volunteers to help keep our beautiful church clean. Please call the office for more information.

Youth Group Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers to assist with our growing Youth Group! We would love to have enough adult volunteers to form three age groups: grades K - 5th, 6 - 9th, and 10 - 12th. Please contact Veronique Scalzo at 925-285-4160 or by email at bleurock95@me.com if you are interested in assisting with this exciting ministry for our youth!
